Difference Between Conductive Flooring and Anti-Static Flooring

Both conductive flooring and anti-static flooring are used for electrostatic control, but they differ in volume resistance and application scenarios. Conductive flooring has lower resistance, while anti-static flooring is designed to keep resistance within a controlled range.

Flooring systems can also be divided into direct-lay flooring and raised access flooring. Surface materials may include anti-static ceramic, HPL, and PVC, while base materials include steel, aluminium, composite, wood-core, and calcium sulphate.

Among common surface materials, anti-static ceramic offers strong fire resistance, easy cleaning, high wear resistance, and long service life. This makes it one of the most practical surface options for demanding environments.
